I was visiting Naples and was looking for a place to go ancho's restaurant because they had goat cheese which is my favorite. When I called the owner answer the phone and was incredibly personable and nice he spent most the time raving about the singer so we came and he was not wrong the singer was amazing and friendly and wonderful. I'm at the owner and he was just down to earth and super nice. The other patrons were super friendly. My only complaint would be the bartender was not timeline on our food order.

Surprising great food and atmosphere in an unexpected place.
Searched out a local restaurant for a casual lunch on our vacation. Z’s is an awesome family owned place with some very good food. I had the recommended Italian beef steak sandwich. It had a nice spicy kick and the beef was thin sliced and tender. My wife had the burger which had really good flavor. Perfect fries were the bonus! Lots of TVs for lunchtime but wished we had time to go back for the night time music. We met Alexander Z, who represented the family business with pride and excitement. He topped off a great overall experience. Highly recommend and hope to make it back again.

Two words: Grouper Tacos!
I recently dined at Z’s Music Kitchen and was pleasantly surprised by both the food and the entertainment. I highly recommend the Grouper Tacos with tropical pico de gallo on flour tortillas.
The blackened grouper was cooked to perfection, with generous portions that left me satisfied. The flavors were spot-on, with the fresh pico de gallo (no cilantro, thank you) adding a delightful hint of citrus that perfectly complemented the fish. The creamy chipotle style sauce tied everything together beautifully, enhancing both the pico and the grouper without overpowering either.
When I complimented our server, Alex, on the dish, he beamed with pride and shared that he had actually developed it himself. If you visit, I highly recommend giving these tacos a try – and if you enjoy them as much as I did, be sure to thank Alex!
The star of the night was the music. The band was clearly skilled and professional, and the vocalist, in particular, was a standout, complementing the entire performance.
Overall, Z’s delivered on both cuisine and entertainment. The combination of delicious food and quality live music made for a memorable evening out. If you're looking for a place that offers both great seafood and a vibrant atmosphere, this spot is definitely worth checking out.

We didn't eat on this visit, but the dishes we saw were cleaned so I think it's acceptable lol. Alex was our bartender and extremally nice and welcoming, we will defiantly be back. They have an awesome outdoor section with it's own bar with taps, plenty of seating and live music at scheduled times and events. The music is also available indoors, only thing we weren't fond of is that there was political news channel on TV, which is a problem when someone doesn't agree with what's on. Shouldn't be a problem to ask to have it changed to sports. They also have Karaoke & bingo nights. Love this place!

Really like this family business. Loved the live music. We had the burger with tater tots and the Friday fish fry. So good. I can be a bit snobby about my seafood, but this was really delicious. The tartar sauce didn't look like anything special, but I really liked it. Hope they stick around for a long time.

An amazing personal and very cool music and kitchen experience, family friendly with affordable meals and two amazing Venice Grouper pasta dishes! Be sure to ask for Gary and say Hi to Mr. Zimmer, owner, who also rocks with the groups. Summer hours are Thursday - Sunday. My favorite layback spot in Naples--you are encouraged to relax, stay, enjoy. If you play music or sing, ask about performance night. Z's Music Kitchen is a Naples hidden Gem. Nice place and nice outdoor entertainment area. The Coral Stone band was great entertainment. The downside was they seemed a bit understaffed, as occasionally there were long lines to get drinks. Large food portions. Had the ribs and the pulled pork as they were out of brisket. It was almost like rib and pulled pork soup. The entire meal was doused in Open Pit. I think the chef / cook needs to gain confidence in his cooking, and not cover it up with all that sauce.

Cool spot. Band was great. Stage and sound was very good. Food was better than bar food. Service was lacking. Might have been an off night. Will go back and try again.
